Today we packed up the bottles. The boys have been using sippy cups for a couple months now. It is hard to admit that we have two toddlers now. I could not wait to get rid of the bottles, now I think that I miss them more than the boys do. I could not wait for them to walk. Now they walk all over the place, usually in opposite directions. It is amazing now to get to know the boys as individuals. Yes they are twins, and they had the great advantage of being born with a best friend. They look like brothers, play like friends, and act like individuals. Nature vs. nuture will always be debated. I used to be on the side of nurture, now as a twin mom I am leaning the other way.

Shower.
This morning the bathroom was all full of commotion
Don't take a shower mom, Don't wash your hair,
Mom don't put on lotion.
Play with us now. Play with us here.
Don't just talk to us though the shower door,
Mom get out here!!!
We miss you. We need you.
We can't play on our own.
Without you we don't know what to do.
Quickly finish my shower.
Wash hair, Forget the lotion.
Walk out the shower door.
Two little smiley faces look at me sweetly,
And go off to play with toys on their own.
